“Enough to induce a spasmolytic response on the dance floor…proof of the artist’s pedigree in underground techno.” - ReGen Magazine
"Eight industrial techno slammers and no messing about." - Echoes And Dust
“This is cruising the highway at midnight techno, at times recalling Geinoh Yamashirogumi’s soundtrack to Akira…The programmed drums slamming like vault doors and classic rave synths pushed through echo and reverb until the whole thing is a like a disorienting, half-remembered dream.” - The Wire
“This isn’t your dad’s quaalude music; it’s high-energy, acid-dropping, mescaline-infused rhythm that is unrelenting.” - Ghettoblaster Magazine

“A shoegaze-meets-noise masterpiece." - Sounds Vegan
"Duskdawn is a perfect vehicle for Bennett, allowing him to work across all his chosen genres – heavy guitar-based music residing at the forefront, but cut through with electronic experimentation, hints of shoegaze, a touch of krautrock, and plenty of post-hardcore and lo-fi." - Musique Machine
"CARTHAGE's new album Duskdawn is not just music, it is an immersion into an alternative reality woven from disturbing sounds and drug-induced darkness." - Stigmata Magazine
"Bits and pieces, sometimes disparate, sometimes harmonizing, flicker and float and glide and glitch over and through the songs’ loose scaffolding, creating an effect that can be as cozy as it is disquieting." - Toilet Ov Hell
"At first I was sure it was a good bit of lo-fi dreampop, but then the next part was utter industrial multi-layered bliss, by an artist who has been around long enough to know exactly what he’s doing." - Veil of Sound on "wholivesinsideofyou"

“Warped, stretched and layered with drum machines and queasy, tremolo-laden guitar. Bouncy, beat-driven cruisers ferry the listener deeper down the rabbit hole. Consider yourself subverted." - The Wire
“A timely examination of the current state of affairs, but also a rumination on the glacial pace of social progress, the aesthetics as much at home in the 21st century as in the proto-industrial days of Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire & Psychic TV.” - ReGen Magazine
"Ten tracks filled with industrial anxiety and the fear of a fascist state – an intensely gritty sound." - mxdwn.com
"Showcases a breadth of sonic ideas...which reminds me of the days of warehouse parties that then became raves...The eerie openness & dark character feels more like a wake-up call than a piece of remembered past. Fans of Swan's projects, Godflesh, Justin K Broadrick's many solo endeavors, & what was known at the time as warehouse music, will certainly enjoy." - Musique Machine
"With so much to take in, this album doesn’t disappoint. I think about film and what Bram Stoker’s Dracula once said, “The blood is life.” Yeah, it is. And so is this." - Ghettoblaster
"Cutting out all the worst parts of industrial and throwing in the good, desolate, abandoned and hopelessness that echoes throughout each track." - Repartiseraren

AVALANCHE RECORDINGS
It’s no secret that industrial-metal innovator Justin K Broadrick is prolific, though his Avalanche Recordings imprint may not be as familiar to some. Founded in the year 2000, the label has hosted landmark releases from Broadrick’s own projects such as such as Godflesh and jesu while also showcasing carefully curated works from outside artists including many from the influential Birmingham, UK industrial/dark techno scene.
After working together a number of years, a mutual respect and aligning of aesthetics has led GIVE/TAKE to collaborate with Avalanche Recordings on an ongoing series of innovative releases.
