Dogtablet rise again with electro-industrial anthem "These Days"
Plus bonus remixes from labelmate Cellmod, Der Prosector's Jules Seifert, and Probe 7
London's Dogtablet (Martin King of the iconic Test Dept and Pigface), are gearing up to present their next full-length, Designed To Fade with electro-industrial anthem "These Days."
While Dogtablet are known for their guest vocalists, "These Days" stands out by featuring King's very own menacing vocals singing of love and addiction, layered atop a percussion-forward track appropriate for a drummer of his calibre. The song's sultry atmosphere and lustful lyrics would feel entirely at home in a retro vampire film, while showcasing Dogtablet's crossover appeal with synth-laden textures and trip-hop influence.
Two included remixes, including one from GIVE/TAKE labelmate Cellmod and another by 2Bit Heroes (Jules Seifert of Der Prosector), take the song in complimentary but opposite cinematic directions. Cellmod brandishes his signature glitch and cranks the original's dark intensity to 11, while 2Bit Heroes explore a smoother, world music, and Bond-flick influence with a touch of drum and bass for good measure.
The maxi-single also includes a further preview of the upcoming full-length in the form of "Like Tears In Rain" featuring Yvette Winkler (of VASELYNE) remixed by southern California's queer darkscene champions Probe 7.

JK FLESH / MONRELLA - SHOUTING THE ODDS
Justin K Broadrick (GODFLESH/jesu) and Mick Harris (SCORN/Napalm Death) have hard techno down to a science. Never before has an album filled with such shining, shimmering synths been so black and threatening.
