PLEZZURE puts ICE on blast with incendiary new single
"Death 2 La Migra" sends a clear and unflinching message, as PLEZZURE speaks out against the violence ICE has been carrying out in their East LA community.
The song samples an impassioned speech by Aaron Fisher spoken directly to Marines deployed in LA: "You're on the wrong side of history. You took an oath to the constitution, not to the fascists in the White House." Then, raw and pulsing EBM bass kicks in as the first verse demands, "Whose side are you on when they kidnap people?"
The question serves as an appeal not only to military, cops, and immigration enforcement, but to anyone living in America today. White-hot beats provide a foundation for Dres' sizzling synths and Bunchie's urgent vocals. The duo's signature sounds are all here: "Death 2 La Migra" is brief, fierce, and slam-danceable.
PLEZZURE are meeting the moment with their art and their platform, and are asking us all to do the same.
Own, stream, and share "Death 2 La Migra" now before their self-titled EP drops on Friday, October 17th via GIVE/TAKE.

HVIRESS - BITCHHOUSE
The long-awaited full-length debut from Brighton, UK's HVIRESS, is a sinister and sulphur-hot statement on magick and feminine power.

Tulip Tiger - Da Meanz of Production
Recalling the rebellious and uninhibited electronica from the turn of the century, with massive breaks, fat bass synth, and freewheeling samples, Da Meanz of Production hits like a backhand of déjà vu from 1998.
